The deadline to submit written testimony for the record is Wednesday, April 9th. There are 2 ways that we need your help right now to make changes in congress: First, as advocates and vendors in the Kratom community, it is vital that you have your voices heard and accurately represented on topics important to the Kratom community. In line with this, the House Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services, Education and Related Services is holding their public witness day where individuals can provide written testimony requests. We NEED you to submit your written testimony! Important issues to provide written testimony on include: – NIH Grants – Inconsistent federal oversight on Kratom – How Kratom helps fight addiction – State progress on consumer protection and access to Kratom – Importance of a federal KCPA Make sure to also fill out the Truth in Testimony Witness Disclosure form. Right now, we’re asking advocates like you to submit an appropriations request to your senators and representative for Fiscal Year 2026.
