“Meeting for 2/3/26 at 9:30AM PT From Agenda Recommendation as submitted by Supervisor Hahn: Instruct the Director of Public Health, in collaboration with the Chief Medical Examiner, and in consultation with County Counsel, to report back to the Board in writing in 30 days with recommendations on how the County should address and prevent deaths and harm related to kratom and 7-OH including, but not limited to, creating an ordinance, identifying funding and staffing needs, including leveraging existing funding, identifying the risk of other harmful substitutions of 7-OH and outreaching to the public to help inform the recommendations to be made.
